Overview

 

HEYDUDE Distribution Center in North Las Vegas is searching for a result driven self-starter to fill the role of Maintenance Supervisor.  In this role, you will supervise a team of Maintenance Technicians that are responsible for keeping our buildings operational and looking great!  You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the maintenance department, manage projects and service requests, work with vendors and suppliers, etc.  This role plays a critical part in ensuring our facilities maintain the efficiency needed to fulfill orders from our customers, wholesale partners, and retail stores.

What You'll Do

 

  • Oversee the work of maintenance and facilities techs. Provide mentorship, conduct performance evaluations, partner with Human Resources on employee development and retention.
  • Establish PM scopes and schedules to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Manage service requests, spare parts, preventative maintenance, etc. using CMMS.
  • Ensure the completion of all facilities and equipment service requests.
  • Support continuous improvement projects to achieve operational excellence.
  • Communicate status updates with project teams / requestors.
  • Develop and maintain JSA.
  • Maintain safety compliance for elevated work, electrical work, hot work, etc.
  • Collaborate and form partnership with facilities and equipment vendors and suppliers.
  • Support transition to new building as the company grows.

What You'll Bring to the Table

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED and/or Technical or Vocational education.
  • 4 years' experience leading maintenance teams in distribution center or manufacturing environment.
  • Flexibility in schedule; although the schedule will generally be Mon to Fri business hours, the selected individual must have the flexibility to support weekend as needed.


Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and can develop engaging content.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Teams, and CMMS.
  • Ability to work safely around equipment and enforce OSHA regulations.
  • Experience with LOTO.
  • Experience with reading electrical and mechanical drawings, and schematics for troubleshooting. PLC background preferred.
  • Experience with MDR conveyor, narrow belt sorter, and/or other automated conveyor / material handling systems.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • HVAC experience
  • Metal fabrication and/or welding experience
