Overview

The Sr. Product Execution Engineer of HEYDUDE manages the footwear development process from specs through product confirmation, model-size FIT confirmation, Buy Ready. This role project manages, collaborates, communicates, and provides value-added solutions to ensure timely delivery of high-quality samples. It supports the Product Execution Team with sample tracking and organization, executes workflows against RASCI guidelines and Buy Ready targets, and maintains clear communication and process transparency. The role partners with factories on development and sampling activities, proactively addresses quality, manufacturing, capacity, and lead-time concerns, and demonstrates strong ownership of assigned development projects.

What You'll Do

  • Drive footwear development projects from receipt of initial tech package and sample request through model-size fit, confirmation sampling, Buy Ready, and Sales sample delivery.
  • Manage product prototyping, commercialization activities, and seasonal development milestones to support on-time LR2/SMS sample delivery, Buy Ready completion, and product confirmation.
  • Communicate project status, reports, risks, and development or commercialization issues clearly with US Product Development, Materials, Jinjiang HEYDUDE teams, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate project information and documentation in Centric and the Central Shared Drive, ensuring process transparency and alignment across internal and external teams.
  • Track sample status, sample organization, seasonal critical dates, and project deliverables to ensure timely follow-up on development, Marketing/Promotional requests, project transfers, and special projects.
  • Partner with Materials, Costing, Lab, Quality, Manufacturing, and supplier teams to recommend materials, components, and construction options that meet costing targets, product functional goals, testing requirements, and quality standards.
  • Support decision making by coordinating internal and external meetings, applying footwear manufacturing knowledge, and proactively addressing quality, manufacturing, capacity, lead-time, and commercialization concerns.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • College degree or above; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 6+ years of footwear development or production experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Experience working with factories; product knowledge and understanding of the footwear product development process are preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of shoe construction, footwear materials, upper patterns, bottom components, tooling, and costing.
  • Working knowledge of pattern engineering, model making, part drawings, drafting, 2D documentation, mold-making, customs, footwear manufacturing, and related processes is preferred.
  • Good computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe applications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, passion, dedication, and a strong ability and attitude to learn.
  • Ability to travel within Asia as required.
