Overview

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Play key role in supporting the monitoring and maintenance of work in progress data, contributing communication to drive data-based improvements throughout entire the production planning process. Providing sufficient support on optimization of production schedule and Various PO status analysis.

Assist production planning manager on all efforts towards the optimization of production planning process.

What You'll Do

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Play crucial role in regular data maintenance related to production work in progress.

Prepare, review, and maintain open order summaries on a regular and scheduled basis with Factory Production Planning and Regional Planning teams.

Help Sr. Production Planner identify root causes for late deliveries and assist with the preparation of corrective and recovery plans, regularly communicating status and results to regions.

Identify opportunities in Production Management for streamlined processes and create increased efficiency

Implement key performance indicators and metrics to monitor factory

Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify opportunities to improve visibility & transparency within the supply chain

To be a super user of SAP/INFOR to provide timely support to team members.

What You'll Bring to the Table

DELIVERABLES AND INDICATORS (KPIs): Planning Framework/SOP Establishment. · Planning Po database optimization, build up planning various analysis dashboard · Expand INFOR knowledges becoming an INFOR super user.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

College or above


Experience:

3 years data analysis experience or data analysis major is required.

Footwear industry, foreign trading company, and or direct exposure to logistics industry experience is preferred.

General understanding of footwear facilities and logistics equipment, with strong desire to increase level of knowledge related to various footwear production cycle timelines, with an emphasis on equipment and labor accessed.

SAP/INFOR experience is preferred.


Knowledge:

Good analytical mind and meticulous with details and data

Proficiency in written and spoken English & Mandarin

Good PC skills including advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint, Visio.


Interpersonal Skill:

Self-motivated, sense of urgency, able to work independently and good teamwork

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build positive relationships within and outside of the organization.


Travel Requirement:

Asia

T1 factory/vendor office visits on an as needed basis.
