Production Planner- Packaging focus

Overview
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Play a key role in leading packaging project and providing clear direction to T1 vendors on understanding of HD standard packaging requirements and VAS requirements.
A bridge between customer service team and T1 on any new packing requirements and updates on existing packing requirements.
What You'll Do
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with material team/Packaging supplier to develop and trial new VA materials.
Cooperate with T1 factories to establish implementation timelines and address any open questions regarding new VAS requirements.
Work with Customer Service and Vendor Compliance teams to resolve open questions for new VAS requirements and finalize implementation schedules.
Conduct onsite or virtual training sessions for new factories on VA concepts, processes, and typical VA specifications.
Coordinate with the HD Product Execution team for complex VA onsite coaching and SOP development.
Assist HD Quality team in investigating customer claims related to factory VA execution and develop action plans to prevent recurrence.
Support HD Costing team by debriefing new VA specifications and SOPs for VA pricing.
Coordinate with Customer Service team to set up customer-appointed material ordering portal accounts for T1 factories.
Assist HD Production Planners in validating VA exposure due to PO changes and cancellations.
Assist manager in analysing year-over-year VA PO trends.
Drive the maintenance of VA master data and ensure timely data provision from Customer Service and Vendor Compliance teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
College or above
Experience:
5 years footwear industry experience with focus on PO and packaging management, good understanding of shoe making especially packaging on a customer and vendor facing level.
Knowledge of product development is preferred.
Knowledge:
Proficiency in written and spoken English & Mandarin
Good PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Interpersonal Skill:
Self-motivated, sense of urgency, able to work independently and good teamwork
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build positive relationships within and outside of the organization.
Travel Requirement:
Asia
T1 factory/vendor office visits on an as needed basis.
