Overview
The Retail Store Allocator for Crocs is responsible for managing in-season allocations and replenishment strategies to optimize inventory levels across European retail locations. Reporting to the Director of Demand Planning, this role ensures product availability aligns with store capacity and sales trends while supporting day-to-day retail planning operations. This is a hands-on position requiring quick integration into the planning team and the Aptos allocation system.
What You'll Do
- Drive initial allocations and ongoing replenishment strategies for new and existing products based on store clusters, historical sales, and current trends.
- Manage the Aptos system to ensure data accuracy and efficiency in all allocation and replenishment execution.
- Communicate regularly with Retail Operations, Buying, and Merchandising teams to align allocation strategies with seasonal assortment plans and store feedback.
- Maintain a detailed tracker to monitor orders versus store inventory and capacity constraints, identifying risks of overstock or storage issues.
- Track store performance and stock positions to identify sales opportunities and provide ad hoc reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
- Achieve seasonal readiness by coordinating timely product launches, promotional events, and initial stock packages for new store openings or relocations.
- Lead the maintenance and execution of pricing and promotional repricing
What You'll Bring to the Table
- BS or BA in business, supply chain, merchandising, or related field – or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in retail planning or inventory allocation.
- Background knowledge in the European retail market and inventory management lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of retail allocation systems, with a strong preference for Aptos experience.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and numerical skills. Detail Orientated.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to work independently, onboard quickly, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal stakeholders.
- Fluent in English with excellent organizational and proactive communication skills.
