Overview

As Wholesale Marketing Activation Manager EU at Crocs Europe, based in Hoofddorp, you will play a pivotal role in driving the brand’s growth in direct markets. Reporting to the Sr. Manager Commercial Channel Marketing Activation, you will be the key link between the key wholesale partners and the internal marketing and commercial teams. You will be responsible to co-develop impactful local Marketing plans aligned with Global strategy and meeting local needs. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure operational effectiveness, seasonal planning and execution, tool adoption, budget management, and stakeholder engagement.

 

The EU direct markets are composed of countries like Germany, UK, France, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland where Crocs operates directly.

What You'll Do

Key Accountability 1: WHL Marketing Planning & Execution

  • Take ownership of seasonal  wholesale marketing plans, overseeing implementation and optimizing effectiveness to drive sales and brand growth.
  • Establish prioritized list of key wholesale partners with regional merchandising and commercial teams, and country wholesale marketing and business development / account management teams.
  • Partner seamlessly with respective wholesale partners to drive Crocs brand visibility and activations across their full ecosystem (Retail, Digital, Social, PR, Paid Media)
  • Manage budgets and key account marketing investments to help sell-in and boost sell-through.
  • Identify key account partners for channel programs, media, PR, and Social integration. 
  • Support country wholesale marketing and sales in Preview, Sell-in and Sales meetings. Serve as marketing representative in Sales meetings with wholesale partners.
  • Ensure alignment of regional marketing strategies with global brand goals and objectives.
  • Measure and optimize activations and communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Optimizes WHL brand experiences in direct markets 

 

Key Accountability 2: Cross Functional collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing teams as well as key internal & external stakeholders to integrate wholesale marketing initiatives seamlessly.   
  • Informs EMEA Integrated Marketing team on relevant local wholesale initiatives.   
  • Facilitate communication between wholesale marketing and internal teams, gathering insights and briefing requirements for marketing material development leading to a best-in-class local execution.   
  • Drive synergies and process improvements through effective collaboration with the Commercial Team and other key stakeholders.   
  • Collaborate closely with the Wholesale commercial account managers.  
  • Works closely and in an integrated manner with Commercial Teams, Brand Marketing team, Merchandising and Customer service teams. 
  • Maintains close and trusted relationships with all Wholesale Commercial Directors and teams, aligning on changing strategies, marketing objectives and support of their respective regions. 
  • Works alongside the VM function to elevate wholesale merchandising strategy for key accounts
  • Works with external agencies for channel activations that deliver best in class execution

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, fashion business or related field 
  • Preferably 5-7 years of full-time experience in Marketing with an international brand that operates in multiple channels.  Experience at Manager Level is required.
  • Fashion/Footwear industry experience is a strong plus, international experience. 
  • Priority Setting: Ability to take initiative, work independently and prioritize tasks; strong time-management, organizational and problem-solving skills. 
  • Creativity: Innovative thinking to create engaging and memorable brand activations 
  • Project Management: Skill in managing multiple complex projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.  
  • Budget Management: Understanding of budgeting and financial management related to marketing activities.  
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing trends, consumer behaviors, and industry dynamics.   
  • Strong interest in Pop culture, Youth Culture and social media.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and develop effective solutions.  
  • Proven ability to successfully work in a highly cross-functional matrix environment.

  • Fluent in English. Fluent in German is a bonus
  • Market visits in key countries as needed
