Overview

As part of the European marketing team, you will be responsible for driving brand engagement and product awareness in media across Tier 1 markets in Europe (UK, France, and Germany). You will lead relationships with key external stakeholders and PR agencies, managing both consumer and corporate PR initiatives. This includes developing and executing regional communication strategies, managing press and influencer events, driving organic gifting initiatives, curating the sample inventory, building executive profiling, speaking opportunities, and award submissions. The role requires a strategic, hands-on communicator with strong media relations skills and a deep understanding of cross-market dynamics.

What You'll Do

  • Key Accountability 1: Public Relations

    • Adapt and execute Global PR strategies into impactful Regional plans and activations that enhance brand perception and drive product desirability.
    • Develop and implement seasonal communications strategies for key marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand collaborations.
    • Create scalable PR toolkits, templates, and processes to support consistent Regional execution and International alignment.
    • Identify and act on timely PR opportunities, balancing real-time responsiveness with strategic planning.
    • Plan and execute in-market activations including consumer, press and influencers events, as well as organic gifting initiatives.
    • Track broader media trends across the footwear industry and adjacent categories to inform proactive storytelling and timely response strategies.
    • External stakeholder management: manage day-to-day collaboration with PR agency partners, including strategic guidance, asset delivery, project timelines, and regular status updates. Ensure agencies are equipped to drive media coverage and execute activations in line with regional priorities and Global brand standards.
    • Internal collaboration: maintain clear and consistent communication with European and International stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective project tracking across markets.
    • Oversee sample coordination, including inventory management, ordering, and distribution for media and influencer gifting initiatives.
    • Support budget management, including tracking expenses and coordinating payment processes with relevant teams and vendors.
    • Monitor and report on regional media coverage, delivering clear insights and performance metrics to evaluate PR effectiveness.
    • Track broader media trends across the footwear industry and adjacent categories to inform proactive storytelling and timely response strategies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on issues and crisis management, ensuring timely, coordinated communication and mitigation efforts.

     

    Key Accountability 2: Influencer Marketing

    • Regional amplification of Crocs Mainline campaigns. Develop and execute integrated influencer marketing campaigns that align with our brand objectives and target metrics.
    • Collaborate with influencers to create compelling, authentic content that resonates with their audiences and showcases our brand.
    • Identify, attract, and cultivate relationships with relevant influencers to align with our brand values and target audience.
Manage ongoing influencer partnerships, including negotiation, contracts, and relationship management.
    • Connect influencer marketing in 360 campaigns, leveraging partnerships through social media, CRM, Paid Media, and all marketing touchpoints.
Monitor, analyze, and optimize influencer campaigns, tracking key metrics such as reach, engagement, and ROI.
    • Build and maintain a media contact list, fostering relationships with relevant media outlets and securing interviews and editorial features.
    • Stay up to date with influencer marketing trends and best practices, leveraging emerging platforms and strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness.
    • Assist with other marketing initiatives as needed, providing insights and expertise on influencer marketing opportunities.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • BS or BA in public relations, mass communications, journalism or related field 
  • Minimum 5 years of PR agency or brand experience with a proven track record in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Established relationships with VIP stylists and experience with celebrity talent dressing strongly preferred 
  • Footwear industry experience and globally-scaled experience are both a strong plus, but neither are requirements 
  • Strong project management and cross-functional team leadership skills including organizational skills, project planning abilities, timeline management, results-orientation and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent communication abilities, written and verbal; internal and external 
  • Requires thorough knowledge of general PR and marketing principals 
  • Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task and prioritize duties, operates with sense of urgency 
  • Advanced analytical skills, ability to translate complex data and trends into actionable strategy 
  • Ability to develop, manage and improve upon process 
  • Demonstrates consumer centricity and experience as well as passion for product and brand building 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
