Overview
The Merchandising Manager – Distributor Markets EU for Crocs is responsible for driving the regional merchandising vision and landing the product direction across European Distributor markets. Reporting to the Merchandising Director Distributor Markets for EMEA-LATAM, this role serves as the strategic link between global product strategy and regional execution. You will be hands-on in assortment creation, pricing analysis, and supporting Distributor teams to ensure our seasonal lines resonate with local consumers and achieve growth targets.
This is a 8-month maternity cover from July 1st, 2026 till February 28th, 2027.
What You'll Do
- Drive the regional merchandising strategy by curating global assortments that protect consumer relevance, align with EU market dynamics and commercial performance, and sustain long‑term brand and franchise health across all partner channels.
- Manage the end-to-end assortment process for EU partner markets, ensuring Wholesale, Retail, and E-commerce strategies are segmented effectively to maximize market reach.
- Communicate seasonal visual plans and high-impact presentations to internal stakeholders and distributor partners to inspire confidence and land seasonal product strategies.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of the EU marketplace, acting as the primary regional voice in global product meetings to influence future product development.
- Track and interpret sales analytics, productivity metrics, and historical data to provide accurate forecasting and optimize product offerings.
- Innovate by making bold merchandising bets based on consumer insights, pricing analysis, and margin requirements to ensure sustainable, profitable growth.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- BS or BA in business, marketing, or related field – or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Merchandising or Commercial roles, preferably within the footwear or apparel industry.
- Background knowledge in the European marketplaces and footwear distribution channels is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of driving merchandising strategies across a diverse omnichannel landscape, including Wholesale, Retail, and Digital.
- Highly effective at communication and presentation, with the emotional intelligence to influence and engage stakeholders across different cultural backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex sales data and market trends into actionable product assortments and pricing strategies.
- Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time to the US and throughout Europe.
- Fluent level of English is required to navigate our global and regional business structure.
