Overview

The Crocs International Creative Director will be based in Netherlands leading a team of designers, copywriters, and project managers focused on regional growth (ROW & APAC). The role ensures global creative strategy adapts to regional cultural nuances while maintaining brand consistency and shares local insights with the GCD to inform global direction.

 

This individual will be responsible for producing marketing materials for Crocs stores, Crocs.com, wholesale partners, and digital channels. This role requires strong organization, creativity, conceptual skills, and expert-level proficiency in Adobe CC. The Creative Director manages both daily projects and seasonal campaigns, elevating the brand and supporting its commitment to innovation, sustainability, inclusion, and diversity.The Creative Director maintains a unified brand voice, interprets it for local markets, and proactively contributes ideas to drive creative strategy and marketing goals. Demonstrated leadership experience, collaboration with global teams, and enthusiasm for evangelizing the Crocs brand internally and externally are essential.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain overall brand voice and brand consistency across regions and channels
  • Work with the global creative team in preparing seasonal product campaigns to be viewed through the regional APAC lens, as well as other business units or global marketing initiatives
  • Have a committed understanding of Wholesale, Crocs Retail, and Crocs eCommerce campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Creative and Marketing teams on all outgoing marketing pieces
  • Collaborate with Product and Merchandising teams to develop product positioning and develop seasonal stories
  • Collaborate with local Creative Agency Partners and help direct them on the Crocs brand
  • Ability to manage both internal and external resources (at times 20+) to win in the International Marketing space
  • Design internal corporate presentations and projects as needed
  • Manage and lead a team of creatives
  • Ensure accuracy of consumer-facing content
  • In being in market, it allows to tie in cultural fluency and multi-market complexity, while also allowing for stronger market insights from in-region touchpoints

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and/or Graphic Design
  • At least 10+ years’ experience with an in-house creative team or agency
  • At least 3+ years supervisory responsibility of creative teams
  • In-depth knowledge of the ROW/APAC region to allow us to capture growth
  • Expert level graphic design skills
  • Ability to commit to the creative vision and passionately execute marketing materials
  • Capacity to lead all aspects of and guide the work of others
  • Ability to present and communicate ideas
  • Knowledge and understanding of advertising principles and evolving guidelines for eComm, print, and retail copy
  • Understanding of consumer profiles, research, and data that informs marketing strategies
  • Outstanding organizational skills and dedication to excellence with an eye for detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile and constantly evolving environment while managing multiple priorities under pressure
  • Effectively manages time and operates with sense of urgency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
  • Cope effectively with complexity and change
