Overview
The Business Analytics Manager will be the analytics backbone for our growing business in India. This role is responsible for generating actionable insights, enabling data-led decisions, and supporting the Wholesale and Retail teams with real-time analytics, dashboards, and strategic presentations
What You'll Do
1. Channel-Focused Analytics & Insights
- Partner with both Wholesale and Retail teams to understand key business questions and provide data-driven answers.
- Analyze sell-in and sell-through trends, product performance, customer behavior, store productivity, and partner performance.
- Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews with in-depth channel analytics and insights.
- Macro/industry view and impact on our business
2. Dashboard Development & Reporting
- Design and manage real-time dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Automate recurring reports and ensure data integrity and timely availability of insights.
- Track KPIs across both channels (e.g., revenue, volume, productivity, stock health, and ROI on retail activations).
3. Business Storytelling & Strategic Presentations
- Translate data into business narratives – combining numbers with insights to create presentations that drive decisions.
- Develop decks and summaries for senior leadership meetings, country reviews, and internal planning sessions.
- Design structure for business planning review
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, Planning, and Marketing to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with Global and Regional Analytics teams to align on tools, metrics, and reporting formats.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- 8-10 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data insights – preferably in Retail, Footwear, Fashion, or FMCG.
- Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
- Advanced Excel and working knowledge of SQL required.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience working with sales/channel teams.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills – ability to simplify complex data.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities.
- A deep passion for analytics and solving business problems with data.
- Ownership mindset and eagerness to work closely with business teams.
- Ability to connect the dots between numbers and business strategy.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and strong stakeholder management skills
