Overview
The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing brand and channel marketing strategies tailored to the South Korea market. This includes localizing global campaigns, leading omni-channel activations, and ensuring cultural relevance while aligning with global brand direction. The role partners with cross-functional, regional, and global teams to deliver impactful consumer experiences across Wholesale, Retail, and eCommerce channels.
What You'll Do
1. Marketing Strategy & Brand Campaigns

Localize and execute global brand campaigns for South Korea.

Build annual marketing calendars aligned with global GTM plans.

Lead local storytelling across channels with cultural and consumer relevance.

Evaluate campaign performance using KPIs and manage marketing budget.
2. Channel Marketing & Commercial Activation
-
Develop and lead channel marketing plans for Wholesale, eCom, and Retail.

Drive integrated sell-in/sell-out strategies for priority accounts and DtC.

Ensure consistent execution of marketing plans across channels.
-
Represent marketing in commercial meetings to align with sales targets.
3. Strategic Channel Growth (Wholesale, DtC, eCom)

Scale global marketing programs locally for key accounts (e.g., ABC-MART).

Align with commercial teams on evolving Wholesale and DtC strategies.

Optimize campaign ROI and share performance insights with stakeholders.
4. Retail & Visual Merchandising

Develop seasonal in-store and digital retail marketing strategies.

Execute GTM-aligned promotions and product launches.

Support new store openings and elevate in-store consumer experiences.
5. Team Development & Resource Management

Coach and develop channel activation team.

Manage marketing budgets and vendor relationships.

Collaborate with global teams to co-create relevant local tools and assets.

What You'll Bring to the Table
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

10+ years of marketing experience, including South Korea market
-
Background in fashion, sports, lifestyle, or FMCG preferred
-
Proven experience in brand, channel, and integrated marketing
Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of omni-channel marketing and user experience

Fluent in Korean and English

Proficient in digital marketing, influencer strategy, PR, and media

Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Workfront

Strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking

Leadership experience managing teams and agency partners
