Overview
Allocation Analyst will be responsible for managing the distribution of products and resources across various channels and locations. This role involves analyzing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and coordinating with supply chain partners to ensure optimal product availability. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do

nventory Management:
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure alignment with demand forecasts.
- Develop and implement strategies for inventory allocation to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.

Demand Forecasting:
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and historical performance to forecast demand accurately.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotional activities and market changes into forecasts.

Allocation Planning:
- Create and maintain allocation plans to distribute products effectively across various locations and channels.
- Adjust allocation plans based on real-time data and changing market conditions.

Data Analysis:
- Utilize analytical tools and techniques to assess product performance and inventory metrics.
- Generate reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to management.

Coordination:
- Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
- Address and resolve any allocation-related issues or discrepancies.

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management and allocation practices.
- Implement best practices and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency.
What You'll Bring to the Table

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain analysis, or a related role is preferred.
- Experience with allocation or demand planning is a plus.

Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau).
- Knowledge of inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
