Overview

Crocs is hiring a Director Digital Commerce to grow the e-commerce, marketplaces, and e-tail businesses in South Korea.  This critically important leadership position will have P&L responsibility and will manage the merchandising, onsite, digital marketing and marketplace/Etail teams.  The role will develop and execute the strategy to grow the brand, deliver financial results and improve customer experience. This role sits in both Asia Digital Leadership team, and Korea Leadership team.

What You'll Do

  • Propose and commit to annual financial targets, including revenues and profitability
  • Develop and implement a business strategy across pricing, promotions, assortment, sales channels, digital marketing, customer experience, branding, etc.
  • On crocs.com, elevate branding, showcase products, and create a best-in-class shopping experience
  • For marketplace and e-tail partners, develop a holistic strategy with appropriate segmentation across storefronts ;
  • Identify new growth opportunities by working cross functionally with Brand Marketing, Retail, and Wholesale, as well as with external partners
  • Drive integrated operating model with the broader Crocs South Korea/Regional/Global team.
  • Influence global, regional, and local strategies as a member of the commercial leadership team and implement best practices from other markets
  • Build an amazing team culture and develop a growing and talented digital team.
  • As a leader, provide inclusive leadership, guidance, and direction to the team. Build and maintain a high-performance team and culture through open and clear communications, ongoing mentoring and development, and effective performance management.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Degree in any general discipline/field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ E-Commerce experience in South Korea.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing and marketplace landscape and the levers available to drive growth
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work smoothly across multiple cultures and time zones
  • Track record of successfully managing both brand.com and third party marketplaces.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Highly organized, consumer-centric, business-driven.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible.
