Overview

Essential duties and responsibilities:


Technical Support:
•    Provide outstanding support for all IT-related issues across retail locations, distribution centers, and corporate offices.
•    Solve hardware and software issues on various devices including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
•    Maintain a flawless asset inventory per defined processes.
•    Run various application access permissions efficiently.
•    Document incidents and resolutions in detail within the ITSM system to ensure a smooth workflow.


Training and Documentation:
•    Develop and maintain standard operating procedures that ensure consistency and efficiency.
•    Deliver engaging training sessions on the use of IT equipment and software applications, aiming to reduce the volume of user errors and support tickets.
•    Build user-friendly guides and resources for common issues to empower users to resolve minor issues independently, encouraging a culture of self-reliance.


Project Assistance:
•    Support IT and business-led project implementations, including new software deployments and hardware upgrades.
•    Collaborate with project teams to ensure that IT infrastructure and services align with business goals and project timelines.
•    Assist in the testing and evaluation of new technology solutions to support business initiatives and drive innovation.

What You'll Do

Job requirements and skills


•    Associate's or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
•    Demonstrable experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar role.
•    Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
•    Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues effectively.
•    Superb communication skills and the ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
•    Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or similar are an advantage.
•    Proven ability to prioritize, handle, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•    Effectively handle time and operate with a sense of urgency and determination.
•    Adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
•    Manage complexity and change effectively while maintaining a positive approach.

What You'll Bring to the Table

You will be working in our modern, semi-automated warehouse located in Dordrecht. Due to the accessibility of our Distribution Center, having a driver's license and a car is a requirement. You will be working in shifts to effectively support the operation of our warehouse. We seek a candidate within 50 km of Dordrecht, with potential support needed in Hoofddorp.
