The User Experience Designer plays a key role in crafting the visual and interactive expression of Crocs, Inc.'s global ecommerce platforms! Focused on optimizing usability, accessibility, and conversion, this role combines critical thinking with meticulous attention to design detail.
This global role will collaborate cross-functionally with digital product managers, developers, content strategists, and brand teams to bring engaging, consistent, and intuitive interfaces to life for the Crocs and HEYDUDE brands. By using user insights, design systems, and brand guidelines, you will contribute to delivering a visually compelling and frictionless shopping experience that meets the expectations of millions of customers across regions.
What You'll Do
- Translate user needs, business objectives, and brand aesthetics into intuitive, high-fidelity user interfaces.
- Drive the creation of page layouts, visual hierarchies, interactive components, and micro-interactions that improve usability and delight users.
- Partner with brand design and creative teams to align visual identity across platforms.
- Ensure pixel-perfect execution of responsive and accessible designs across desktop, mobile, and app platforms.
- Collaborate closely with UX and Product Managers to synthesize insights and apply them to craft iterations.
- Work alongside developers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout build and QA phases.
- Participate in design critiques and cross-functional workshops to capture feedback and iterate.
- Support experimentation and personalization efforts with modular design solutions that adapt to various user segments and test conditions.
- Contribute to and evolve Crocs’ global design system to ensure scalability, consistency, and efficiency.
- Partner with frontend developers to detail and maintain a component library that streamlines future design efforts.
- Stay current with UI trends, emerging tools, and platform capabilities to continuously enhance the brand’s digital expression.
- Advocate for inclusive design principles and WCAG compliance in all UI decisions.
- Ensure designs are optimized for performance and aligned with technical requirements and constraints.
- Identify areas for improving load speed, usability, and accessibility and partner with Engineering to implement solutions.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related degree.
- 2+ years of experience designing interfaces for consumer-facing websites or apps, preferably in ecommerce or retail.
- Preferred Certifications: Google UX Design Certificate, Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Certificate and Adobe Certified Professional – UX Design.
- Proven experience working in a collaborative product design environment with UX, product, and engineering teams.
- A strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, UI execution, and responsive design across multiple device types.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma (design systems, prototypes, components), Adobe Creative Suite, and other design/prototyping tools.
- Understanding of HTML/CSS and how designs are implemented technically.
- Shown proficiency in accessibility standards and responsive design concepts.
- Familiarity with testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, AB Tasty) and how design supports experimentation and personalization.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present design rationale to stakeholders across all levels.
- Passion for user-centric design and a focus on attention to detail in layout, typography, and visual storytelling.

Title: User Experience Designer
Salary or Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
At Crocs, Inc. we believe in the power of a blend of in-person and virtual collaboration to drive creativity and strengthen relationships. Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Connector persona.
