You will be responsible for developing integration blueprints, aligning technical standards, and ensuring that our services are decoupled, scalable, and operate in harmony to support our global retail operations.
What You'll Do

- Establish and define clear domain boundaries and ownership across Product, Merchandising, and Planning interfaces with adjacent Domains.
- Collaborate with Architects in adjacent Domains (e.g., Commercial / Digital, Finance, Distribution & Logistics, Data Platform) to ensure end-to-end consistency, align on shared service contracts, and communicate and resolve domain boundary changes.
- Proactively identify architectural drift, technical debt, and scalability risks at the domain boundaries, leading teams in planning and executing remediation strategies.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new architectural patterns, tools, and platforms (SaaS, PaaS, Open Source) to modernize core Product & Planning capabilities.
- Proactively document and share architectural best practices, patterns, and design decisions to elevate the technical understanding of cross-functional teams.
- Architect the solutions governing data (e.g., Product Master Data) generated within the Product & Planning domains to ensure a single, authoritative source of truth is available to adjacent domains.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in architecting solutions for Product & Planning systems, with significant time spent defining solutions for enterprise systems.
- Proven track record of influencing complex architectural decisions through collaboration with senior business partners and peer architects.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles (i.e., Domain-Driven Design concepts, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Expertise in establishing cross-functionally aligned target architectures within and across functional domains.
- Possesses deep functional and technical knowledge of Product Development, Product Management, Merchandising, and Planning business processes and capabilities, along with experience implementing technology solutions for these areas such as Centric PLM for Product Management and o9 for Planning.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL data stores and advanced data modeling techniques for Master Data (e.g., Product, Location, Time) and Transactional Data (e.g., Purchase Order, Sales Order, Inventory).
