Overview
The Staff Accountant at Crocs, Inc. will work in a dynamic business environment within a high-profile, multinational company. In recent years the company has experienced a dramatic expansion of activity, and as a result is continually aiming to make its processes more efficient and scalable. The environment promotes collaboration across organizations in improving its operations.
What You'll Do
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures, inclusive of preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, and participating in and preparing for quarter trial balance variance reviews.
- Support accounting for corporate activities, with exposure to lease related accounting activities as part of the broader close process.
- Assist with the preparation of external audit requests with efficiency and effective communication.
- Maintain documentation in compliance with internal and external requirements ensuring adherence to SOX controls.
- Lead and collaborate on various projects as assigned and continuously find ways to improve departmental quality through creating efficiencies, streamlining repetitive processes, and using technology.
- Work closely with global accounting teams, third-party contractors, and other departments.
- Support strategic initiatives and other key accounting and finance goals, fostering a positive accounting team and professional culture in a fast paced and evolving environment.
- Participate in and promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- A strong foundation in accounting principles, a passion for continuous improvement, and flexibility to handle a dynamic and changing environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, CPA a plus.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP a plus.
- Strong financial process experience, including financial close, reporting, internal controls, experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and working with independent auditors.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data in an organized, inherently simple manner.

Title: Staff Accountant
Salary or Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
