The Staff Accountant will work in a dynamic business environment within a high-profile, multinational company. In recent years the company has experienced a dramatic expansion of activity, and as a result is continually aiming to make its processes more efficient and scalable. The environment promotes collaboration across organizations in improving its operations.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare monthly royalty expense journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for both the Crocs and HEYDUDE Brands, facilitate quarterly payment requests by consolidating royalty reporting and securing business approval, and prepare and submit quarterly reporting to all licensors for both Brands.
  • Support periodic licensor audits.
  • Prepare monthly close documentation such as checklists and global accounting journal entries.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Lead and collaborate on various projects as assigned and continuously find ways to improve departmental quality through creating efficiencies, streamlining repetitive processes, and using technology.
  • Comprehend complex accounting topics and determine the appropriate treatment as required under US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • A strong foundation in accounting principles, a passion for continuous improvement, and flexibility to handle a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA or equivalent is a plus.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems, SAP is a plus.
  • Strong financial process experience, including financial close, reporting, and internal controls.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data in an organized, inherently simple manner.

Title: Staff Accountant 

Salary or Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.
