Overview
Crocs is hiring a Sr. Planner, Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP). This individual collaborates with the merchandising and regional planning teams to plan pre-season category sales, demand, and SKU goals for Crocs. This position is the key point of view on tops down targets by category to maximize sales, margin, and inventory profitability across the globe. Responsibilities include continuously optimizing business opportunities, forecast accuracy, and category performance based on history and current trends. This position is highly analytical in nature and requires a strategic ability to collaborate with a diverse group of people to drive results that achieve brand and revenue goals.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for creating and maintaining global annual and pre-season sales and demand plans. Plans are created in collaboration with merchandising, planning, capacity, commercial teams, and finance. Plans should focus on brand initiatives and optimizing key performance indicators.
- Partners with global and regional teams to sets tops-down targets for key categories for the globe. Provide support and recommendations for the regions and channels.
- Collaboratively builds and proposes SKU count and other financial targets to the merchandising and product creation team. Targets will be done annually, by season, and by category to maximize profitability.
- Analyzes pre-season forecasts submitted by the regions and compares to global targets. Reviews product mix changes that could impact sales, margin, and demand. Provides recommended changes to the global forecast based on category performance and recommends drops to the product line to improve profitability.
- Provides hind-sight analyses that could impact future season product categories and decisions.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in merchandising, planning, or demand forecasting.
- Demonstrated experience and success with strategic planning and business planning, especially within the consumer goods, footwear or fashion/apparel industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Demonstrated results in forecast management activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority, gain buy-in and drive consensus.
- Proven ability to articulate business requirements and formulate concise solutions to complex problems.
- Strong organizational skills and proven experience in developing / managing processes in a fast-growing business.
- Proven ability to successfully work in a highly cross-functional matrix environment.
- Understanding of integrated business planning process.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with Microsoft Access Skills a plus.
- Fluency in English required.

Salary or Pay Range: $95,000 - $105,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
