Overview
The Crocs, Inc. team is seeking a Senior Merchandise Planner, DTC, to lead and elevate our eCommerce and Retail Planning initiatives for the Americas market. In this senior-level role, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering sophisticated demand plans for both core and new product lines, ensuring inventory optimization and driving profitable growth strategies. As a Senior Merchandise Planner, DTC, you will serve as a strategic thought partner, fostering cross-functional collaboration with commercial leaders to orchestrate demand reviews, consolidation processes, and seamless seasonal transitions across the organization. Your oversight will span multiple high-impact categories, including Clogs, Lifestyle, and Sandals.
You will own and improve the Open to Buy and Demand Review process, set detailed inventory policies passionate about products, and deliver deep-dive analyses to advise executive-level decision-making. Bringing to bear a data-driven attitude and a proactive approach to market trends, you will generate powerful insights to accelerate sales performance and improve inventory efficiency. What You'll Do
- Lead comprehensive weekly and monthly analyses to evaluate sales performance across DTC channels, assess inventory turnover, and measure assortment efficiency
- Prepare and deliver strategic reports that identify major trends, highlight sales opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations for assortment optimization to accelerate speed and growth
- Oversee Product Life Cycle Inventory management and conduct sophisticated SKU productivity assessments to maximize profitability
- Apply sales data to generate insights that inform revenue-driving strategies, enhance decision-making agility, and improve inventory turnover rates
- Monitor and interpret market trends across all channels, analyze sell-in and sell-out metrics, and advise on demand opportunities to support informed buying decisions
- Partner with Merchandising leads to develop and recommend strategies that align with market demands and optimize inventory levels
- Collaborate with Global Merchandising to assess and recommend adjustments to product assortment, ensuring alignment with consumer needs and sales targets
- Drive buying strategy recommendations and coordinate inventory allocation decisions across channels to improve impact and efficiency
- Initiate and communicate speed buy recommendations to channel leads during the monthly planning cycle, ensuring timely response to market dynamics
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements to boost speed and responsiveness
- Maintain expertise in industry standards for inventory management and demand forecasting, ensuring guidelines are consistently applied
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Merchandising, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of planning, OTB, demand planning, marketplace, or digital commerce experience; apparel, footwear, ecommerce, or omnichannel experience strongly preferred
- Ability to analyze business performance, identify forecast risks and opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations through structured demand review processes
- Expertise in building preseason plans and translating strategic sales targets into in-season forecasts and inventory requirements
- Experience managing OTB budgets to optimize inventory investments, sales performance, and inventory productivity
- Strong understanding of retail metrics, pricing, promotions, consumer behavior, and financial analysis to support business decisions
- Ability to manage and analyze gross margin, COGS, sales dollars, unit sales, and profitability drivers across multiple channels
- Knowledge of inventory turn, sell-through, weeks of supply, and other important measures to improve inventory efficiency and business performance
- Skilled in developing executive-level reports, dashboards, and insights that provide perspective on product, category, and business performance
- Ability to identify emerging business trends and quantify potential impacts to sales, inventory, and financial plans
- Experience preparing and presenting business performance, forecasts, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional partners
- Ability to partner with Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to align forecasts, inventory strategies, and financial objectives
- Experience managing inventory, sales, and profitability within a multi-channel environment, including eCommerce, Retail, and Shared Inventory models
- Ability to develop product-level strategies that balance revenue growth, profitability, inventory health, and customer demand

Salary or Pay Range: $98,000 - $108,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
