Overview

The Sr Manager, Partnerships Business Operations at Crocs Inc., will be part of the Global Product Operations team leading cross functional operational execution across our brand partnerships and licensing portfolio. This position will provide process rigor and drive cross-functional clarity and adherence to unique licensed contractual and launch requirements.  You will operationalize the Partnerships business strategy across functions through education and process governance to launch in strict alignment with partner agreements, brand standards, and confidentiality protocols.  To succeed in this role, you have a strong executive presence, a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end retail business, and are energized by aligning functions and driving continuous improvement. 

What You'll Do

License Compliance & Governance:

  • Serve as the primary operational liaison for all licensing agreements, supporting full adherence to contractual obligations across product, marketing, and commercial processes
  • Collaborate with Senior Licensing Manager to develop and maintain a centralized system for tracking key license terms, approval workflows, and expiration timelines.
  • Partner with Legal to support enforcement of NDAs, IP protections, and confidentiality clauses across all touchpoints. 
  • Hold the business and partners accountable to timelines in support of successful and contractually compliant product launches

Drive Operational Excellence:

  • Establish process to monitor contractually required approvals and a path for resolving customer concerns or delays that minimize risk to the business and partnership
  • Work closely with Product Leadership to drive and complete the product vision. Elevate any concerns about business strategy or contracts early and often to enable timely solutions.
  • Educate, train, and audit cross-functional partners on licensed business process
  • Drive cross-functional licensed compliance including governance, monitoring, post-booking reviews, pull-forward parameters, digital process enhancements, royalties management etc
  • Monitor sales ordering, inventory blocks, assortment governance, and data/systems accuracy and asset protection

Go-to-Market Alignment:

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Commercial teams to ensure licensed products are launched in accordance with partner expectations and market strategies
  • Monitor embargoes, exclusivity windows, and co-branded marketing campaigns to reduce missteps and eliminate the risk of leaks

Confidentiality & Risk Management:

  • Implement and monitor protocols to prevent leaks of unreleased products or confidential partner information
  • Analyze critical systems and business processes to create a strategic and repeatable approach to asset management, royalties process, and contractual obligations
  • Conduct regular audits and training to reinforce compliance with internal and external confidentiality standards

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Responsible for ensuring alignment, process adherence, and effective communication connecting Product & Merchandising with Marketing, Planning, Legal, GTM Ops, IT, Commercial, and Operational teams as point of contact for licensed business strategy execution Identify and adjust gaps in communication across all functions responsible for bringing licensed product to market aligned to contractual agreements and business goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to find opportunities for process improvement, implement new business processes, mitigate asset leaks, and create and report critical metrics
  • Lead regular check-ins with license partners to review performance, resolve issues, and align on future initiatives

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, Supply Chain or related degree with expertise in Product Creation, Retail and Management
  • 8+ years of dynamic operations and/or strategy experience with an apparel/footwear manufacturer or retailer, ideally working in a high-growth organization.  Licensed experience preferred.
  • Shown executive presence is a must, serving as a bridge across creative, technical and analytical teams with the ability to collaborate across a senior leadership team. 
  • Deep knowledge of product to market process and end-to-end product operations
  • Prior experience working for a highly matrixed global company with strong leadership and teamwork skills to facilitate work across multiple functions
  • Ability to find the root cause of issues and objectively find the best solutions
  • Ability to build constructive and significant relationships across all levels of collaborators
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to explain, articulate, and document concepts and business processes
  • 3+ years leading with curiosity and ability to think creatively
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity while connecting the dots holistically across functions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including demonstrated ability to create presentations in PowerPoint, analyze data in Excel, and effectively use Outlook and Word to support daily business operations.

Title: Sr. Manager Partnerships Business Operations 

Salary or Pay Range: $130,000 - $140,000 

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
