Overview
The Senior Manager Retail Construction is responsible for all aspects of store construction including new stores, remodels and relocations and facilities maintenance across the America’s Crocs Inc. Retail brand including Crocs and Hey Dude retail stores. Strong leadership is required in this role to lead internal and external vendors to ensure all projects are completed on time and under budget. Reports directly to Sr. Director, Americas Real Estate & Construction.
What You'll Do
- Budgeting, scheduling and achieve CAPEX targets
- Work with architect to determine preliminary scope of work within proposed budget
- Responsible for maintaining all project documentation including construction and closeout documents in all appropriate systems
- Solicit bids, negotiate contracts, and award selection of general contractors and all other applicable vendors for projects
- Manage portfolio of Crocs Inc. retail stores across North America for potential remodel locations
- Adhere to business processes and drive improvement
- Approve store repairs and maintenance through Service Channel
- Set the short and long-term strategy for the department based on expansion plans and historical information
- Ensure all projects within region are accomplished according to Americas Capital Construction guidelines.
- Knowledge of retail leases/construction/ contracts/materials/methodology/ negotiations involved in the construction of retail stores
- Knowledge of retail design techniques, schematic drawings and precision technical plans
- Own all communication both verbal and electronic to internal and cross-functional teams about retail operations, timelines, budgets, and provide updates on a weekly basis.
- Manage and own the new store opening checklist to ensure stores open to standard
- Create project plans and communicate to team members prior to commencement of work.
- Organizes coordinates and execute assignments specifically to subcontractors
- Manage multiple projects at any given time including but not limited to new store, relocations, and remodels
- Actively participate in sustainable conversations with all departments to improve processes and procedures.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Minimum 5 years of retail construction experience
- Knowledge and ability to read and understand construction specs and drawings.
- Previous experience negotiating with vendors and managing team.
- Proactive and deadline driven
- Analysis and problem solving
- Maintain and reduce cost through value engineering and competitive bid process.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook

Salary or Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
