Overview
As the Sr. Manager, Global Energy Category Management, you will lead in the strategic development, management and execution of Crocs global energy assortment. This role will be a key position on the Global Product team. This person will play an integral role in identifying assortment opportunities that Crocs can align with to continue to create and innovate in the energy space.
Working in partnership with global collaborations team, they will develop fully coordinated product plans for top tier distribution, with the intent of driving headlines for the company and driving digital engagement among fans. From partner insights gathering and briefing, to building globally executable product playbooks, to constant communication with cross functional partners, the Sr. Manager will lead energy product from concepting to execution and reporting, all with the goal of growing brand relevancy, engaging Crocs core consumer and sub-communities and driving sell-through for all products. They will heavily interact with Merchandising, Demand Planning, Marketing, Design, and other product team members for a bringing this vision to life.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the most forward-thinking consumers globally and how to connect them to the Crocs brand
- Understand key brand objectives and initiatives on yearly and seasonal calendars
- Drive and implement global energy roadmap in collaboration with the VP of Category Management and support in the identification of key opportunities for the brand, globally
- Brief and develop premium assortment for top tier Energy Distribution, with clear ties to the overall brand and product initiatives.
- Effective development and management of globally scalable product that will drive headlines, engage fans, and sell out product
- Management of Centric PLM and samples as needed
- Leads team of direct report(s), ensures productive and positive working environment
- Ensures alignment with legal on all product, partner and marketing activation plans to stay compliant and within contractual terms for the safety of our brand and partners
What You'll Bring to the Table
- 8 years of product line management or merchandising experience, preferably with an international brand that operates in multiple channels.
- Footwear industry experience is a strong plus as well as knowledge of street wear / drop culture space
- Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
- 3 years demonstrated experience building and managing teams
- Excellent project management oversight abilities; can drive forward projects and initiatives in ambiguous and changing environments against tight timelines
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills for direct reports, also possesses strong ability to lead cross-functional and cross-regional partners through influence
- Understands dynamic and global business organizations; can navigate across sales channels and communications platforms to provide strategic recommendations and action plans that will drive brand awareness and esteem across multiple consumer touch points
- Experienced in drafting strategic marketing briefs for both integrated and channel-specific programs
- Advanced analytical skills, ability to translate complex data, trends, and insights into useful strategy
- Ability to develop, lead and improve upon processes
- Demonstrates consumer centricity and experience as well as passion for brand building
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload while under pressure

Title: Sr. Manager, Global Energy Category Management
Salary or Pay Range: $165,000 - $175,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
