Overview

As the Sr. Designer, Footwear, you will be a key contributor within a collaborative team, helping to create consumer centric, innovative footwear products that engage consumers globally. You will be icon‑obsessed and deeply passionate about molded innovation, comfort, and expressive personalization. You are driven by the consumer and know how to inspire a culture of creativity within a fast‑paced, forward‑thinking team. You are enthusiastic about culture and understand how music, art, fashion, and street culture intersect with clogs as a global icon. You are curious about the world around you and how lifestyle, function, and self‑expression come together through design.

What You'll Do

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of forward‑thinking global consumers and how they connect to footwear as a cultural and functional icon within the Crocs brand.
  • Bring fresh, exciting build thinking specifically to the clogs category, pushing form, comfort, and expression.
  • Lead multiple design projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment.
  • Drive design solutions under the direction of design leadership and cross functional partners.
  • Manage designs through brand‑right concept inspiration, form exploration, materials, technical drawings, technical specifications and teardowns ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Leverage global marketplace insights and competitive awareness to evolve and energize the clogs business.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with Product Management, Merchandising, and CMG teams to bring the clogs vision to life.
  • Explore new ways of thinking and solve design challenges through innovative and unexpected approaches.
  • Continuously educate yourself on emerging design tools, 3D workflows, materials, and molded technologies.
  • Be collaborative, inspiring, and proactive in leading design initiatives within the clogs category.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Design, Footwear Design, Product Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of design experience, preferably with a focus on molded footwear, sport design, sneakers, clogs, or lifestyle products.
  • Strong point of view as a tastemaker with the ability to deliver compelling design across form and thoughtful detailing.
  • Strong understanding of footwear construction, specifications, and prototype refinement.
  • Expertise in footwear design tools including sketching, 2D and 3D form development, with strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop) to clearly express design intent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word to support daily business needs.
  • Experience designing for globally recognized brands or high‑volume lifestyle product categories.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional partners.
  • Ability and willingness to travel globally.

Title: Sr. Designer, Footwear 

Salary or Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000 

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

 

At Crocs, Inc. we believe in the power of a blend of in-person and virtual collaboration to drive creativity and strengthen relationships. Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.

 

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
