At Crocs, Inc., every career offers a chance to make a real impact. No two journeys look the same. And that's exactly how we like it. Whether you’re welcoming customers into our stores, collaborating with global teams at our headquarters, or keeping operations moving at our distribution centers, your impact is real and valued. At Crocs, Inc. you’re not expected to fit a mold. You’re encouraged to break it and create something better.

Overview

Crocs is seeking a Senior Art Director who brings equal parts big-idea campaign thinking and elite execution—a creative lead who can shape global launches from concept to rollout across every major channel. Reporting into Creative leadership, this role is a key driver of Crocs’ most visible, buzz-worthy work: seasonal campaigns, product stories, and integrated brand moments that show up everywhere our consumer does. This work is highly conceptual in nature and demands a Creative that understands nuances between various products, consumers, brands, and cultural trends at a highly developed level.

You’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders and creative counterparts to translate strategy into distinctive, expressive campaign worlds—then operationalize those worlds into global toolkits and guidelines that teams can activate with clarity and consistency across regions. This role is both highly conceptual and highly hands-on: you’ll lead creative development, art direct production, and elevate craft across deliverables under tight timelines while managing overlapping projects.

What You'll Do

  • Global Campaign Concepting & Creative Direction: Translate campaign briefs into innovative, culturally relevant creative approaches that ladder to brand positioning and drive product desirability.
  • Develop breakthrough ideas: Partner with writers and creative teammates to concept storytelling platforms and creative ideas that break conventions, generate brand heat, and create cohesive narratives around each initiative.
  • Champion creative vision: Proactively pitch and advocate for new creative concepts, pushing work forward while ensuring it remains on brand and strategy.
  • Present with clarity and confidence: Communicate creative rationale, campaign ideas, and work in progress clearly and persuasively to partners and leadership.
  • Build campaign systems, toolkits & guidelines that scale: Own the development of global campaign guidelines, translating campaign platforms into clear, scalable systems across channels including visual language, design elements, storytelling cues, and execution direction.
  • Enable global execution: Create instructional toolkits and provide assets, direction, and guardrails that ensure cohesion and consistency across regions and partner teams.
  • Drive campaign share outs: Lead guideline distribution moments, ensuring campaign systems are communicated effectively and enable seamless downstream execution.
  • Art direct production (onset + post): Lead art direction for photography and video production in studio and on location, guiding creative decisions to uphold concept, craft, and brand integrity.
  • Ensure production excellence: Partner with external production teams and vendors to maintain quality, feasibility, and consistency across all deliverables.
  • Deliver integrated campaign creative across every touchpoint: Lead creative execution across global marketing channels—including digital properties, paid and organic social, digital advertising, retail/wholesale environments, and print—ensuring each asset ladders into the overarching campaign story.
  • Balance agility and craft: Manage both large-scale campaign development and fast-turn creative needs without compromising design quality, detail, typography, or composition.
  • Lead teams: Manage a small team of Designers by providing coaching, performance feedback, career development support, and clear creative direction to deliver best in-class campaign work.
  • Direct external partners: Guide agency and production partners to ensure alignment to strategy, timelines, and brand expectations.
