The Sr. AP Coordinator is a key position within the North American (NAM) Accounts Payable department at Crocs, in which you are encouraged to provide excellent customer service, both internally and externally, and demonstrate outstanding communications skills. This role requires a self-starter who is organized and takes the initiative to problem-solve while collaborating with relevant partners.  Reports into the Global Senior Manager AP and partners and works closely with the NAM Accounts Payable Lead.

What You'll Do

  • Participant in month-end financial close activities ensuring accurate accruals (GRIR)
  • Provide instructional mentorship to internal customers, including all employees involved with the indirect procurement process
  • Collaborate with business partners to resolve any process issues and handle user problems
  • Establish and manage relationships with existing vendors
  • Partner with our AP Shared Services team to ensure timely processing of invoices, payments and resolve open items
  • PO reconciliation (GRIR)
  • Handle emails from shared AP Distribution List
  • Ensure accurate internal controls are adhered to
  • Ensure desktop procedures remain current and accurate
  • Reviews and approves vendor master creation and maintenance requests
  • Participating in various AP projects
  • Perform research on sophisticated AP-related matters
  • Provide recommendations for improvements

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • High school diploma and 6 years of experience in Accounts Payable
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting procedures and US GAAP pertaining to the area of responsibility
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Experience in 2- and 3-way purchase order matching
  • Experience with supplier statement reconciliations
  • Highly developed analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented and skilled at prioritization and multitasking to complete multiple deadlines accurately and on time 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage time and operate with a sense of urgency
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Apps, including advanced Excel - pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and be results-driven
  • Quick learner who can adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions

Salary or Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
