Overview

The Americas Wholesale Merchandising team works to ensure that Crocs exceeds sales and profit targets in the North America Wholesale market. The Senior Merchandise Manager will be an expert at building and implementing account business plans based on a variety of factors. We consider input from the sales team, account/buyer feedback, consumer feedback, marketplace trends, global merchandising direction, and brand vision. We have fun together by working hard under tight deadlines and consistently over-deliver to expectations.

What You'll Do

  • Merchandise the Americas wholesale product line to hit seasonal volume, margin and revenue targets as determined by Senior Leadership, Finance and Global Merchandising
  • Lead Commercial Input process for specified wholesale channel 
  • Implement and communicate lifecycle strategies as determined by global merchandising
  • Merchandise and build advised assortments for target customers and channels in alignment with our brand vision
  • Focus on consumer, brand vision and business needs to implement key seasonal brand and product stories 
  • Drive brand vision and consumer engagement with channel specific product assortment (inc. Mainline
  • Consolidate and share sell through and hindsight information relative to channel 
  • Lead Channel segmentation strategy 
  • Build and lead regional range architecture and seasonal account assortment plans 
  • Work with product and sales to merchandise a regionally aligned product line by consumer and channel
  • Implement the lifecycle strategy in the product line against target consumer and distribution channel
  • Segment and implement regional product line by wholesale sub-channel according to global guidelines and to increase revenue
  • Merchandise product stories by sub-channel to align with regional and global marketing
  • Support the design of Global Merchandise strategy to drive revenue and brand goals
  • Align new products and franchise performance to ensure performance by wholesale sub-channel
  • Travel and communicate key product/collections stories, present product and support advised assortment sell-in for specific customers
  • Integrate inline and SMU requests against strategic plans to build directed assortments
  • Conduct seasonal market visits to Competitor Shop, understand trend and evaluate consumer interest. Support our Global team on product opportunities within globally defined timelines.
  • Provide consistent Competitor Analysis to cross functional teams
  • Attend Global Product Milestones meetings on behalf of wholesale channel 

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • 3-5 years of multifaceted experience in planning, product, sales; and/or merchandising;
  • Footwear experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of competition, organizational and analytical abilities
  • Demonstrates ability to independently use resources to increase knowledge
  • Proven track record to optimally work in a highly cross-functional matrix environment
  • Knowledge of fashion/trends with the ability to translate into commercial concepts
  • An understanding of consumer markets and trends
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel. Power Point, Word)

Title: Senior Manager, Wholesale Merchandising (Americas) 

Salary or Pay Range: $135,000 - $145,000  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
