Overview

The Manager, Income Tax for Crocs, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the preparation of the income tax provision and outsourced compliance processes, with a focus on US federal and state income taxes. This role operates in a dynamic and complex tax environment and partners with internal stakeholders and external advisors to deliver accurate and timely tax reporting. The position includes supervision of staff and supports execution across compliance, provision, and process improvement initiatives within a highly collaborative team.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the implementation of new tax law changes, including impacts of OB3 tax reform in the US, numerous US state law changes, and other domestic and international changes as they occur.
  • Drive the process of reviewing, and managing the preparation of tax workpapers and calculations, including tax depreciation, state adjustments, and state apportionment.
  • Support the coordination and review of US Federal, State, and International income tax returns in partnership with external vendors.
  • Supervise and provide day-to-day guidance to a staff tax accountant.
  • Track and Manage the preparation of the income tax provision by computing book-to-tax differences and maintaining support for deferred tax asset and liability balances.
  • Maintain tax account reconciliations for income tax accruals and payments to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Research proper tax treatment of various transactions.
  • Work with external consultants for preparation and review of US federal and state income tax compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain tax provision schedules to facilitate efficiencies in tax reporting and tax compliance.
  • Manage federal and state tax examinations, information document requests, and notices.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields; Masters of Taxation and CPA is a plus.
  • 3+ years of applicable work experience
  • Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to a variety of work assignments.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
  • Ability to utilize software applications, such as MS Excel, in creative and innovative ways to streamline complex processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with multi-state and/or international returns is a plus.

Title: Senior Manager, Tax 

Salary or Pay Range: $105,000 - $115,000 

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
