Overview
The Product Developer, Licensed at Crocs, Inc. will be responsible for the development of new footwear designs as well as other projects involving colors and graphics on carryover product. Starting from the initial ideation phase through manufacturing. The position will work with and support the Product Creation Team to develop a wide range of In-line products, calendar, and process improvement, and achieve product objectives around aesthetic, quality, and cost within the necessary timeline.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams throughout design, development, and commercialization to deliver high-quality products.
- Analyze design packs, prepare factory deliverables, and maintain accurate Product Bill of Materials (BOM) and costing for products in development.
- Identify and address manufacturing, efficiency, and cost concerns to meet margin and duty targets.
- Manage the sample process, including clear requests, product teardowns, documentation, and communication of revisions.
- Recommend improvements in construction, materials, and components to enhance functionality, aesthetics, fit, and durability.
- Lead and participate in development meetings to review progress, resolve issues, and ensure on-time production confirmation.
- Drive timelines and maintain proactive communication with cross-functional teams, manufacturing partners, and material suppliers.
- Monitor and resolve production quality issues as needed.
- Maintain standards for design quality and development processes while navigating fast-paced, changing business needs.
- Provide guidance to teams, work independently, and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Manage physical storage and organization of prototypes and samples.
- Leverage strong knowledge of supplier capabilities, factory relations, material pricing, lead times, and quality standards.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field is preferred.
- Two (2+) years of experience in product creation or similar role is required. Education, beyond requirements, in a related field may substitute for professional experience requirement on a year for year basis.
- Expanded conceptual understanding of the product development and manufacturing process.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills with an ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and develop effective responses for unique process exceptions using experience and sound judgment.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated with strong decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrates a passion for premium products and team building, fostering a positive, collaborative culture and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Some domestic and international travel may be required.

Salary or Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
