Overview
The Planner, Global DTC supports Global Merchandising, Category Managers, and Regional Planning & Merchandising teams in building product and financial plans that support global revenue, margin, and brand objectives. This role focuses on translating global strategy into actionable category and channel plans through financial modeling, assortment analytics, and performance insights.
The Planner works closely with senior planners and cross-functional teams. They ensure alignment from preseason planning through buy execution. They also develop strong foundational planning skills and business insight.
What You'll Do
Strategy & Line Architecture
- Support the development of category strategies outlining the intended size, mix, and growth of the line in alignment with global strategy.
- Assist in setting and tracking SKU targets by channel and segment, using performance data and paretos to support assortment rationalization.
- Partner with Global Merchandising and Senior Planners to help translate strategy into execution-ready inputs for Category teams.
Planning & Forecasting
- Support Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) by helping translate global targets into subregion and channel-level plans, incorporating regional inputs and performance trends.
- Maintain alignment with merchandising and commercial partners during the shift from pre-season planning to buy execution.
- Help analyze and supervise seasonal investments, including SKU counts, depth, and flow, to align with product group and sales platform priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Global Merchandising, Category Management, Regional Planning, Finance, and Commercial teams to support seasonal planning processes.
- Contribute data, analysis, and insights to seasonal hindsight meetings and investment reviews.
Analysis & Insights
- Build and maintain reporting and analysis to support business reviews, leadership readouts, and ad hoc requests.
- Find opportunities to improve planning tools, reporting, and processes, partnering with senior team members to evolve ways of working.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and reporting outputs.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field preferred
- At least 2+ years of experience in merchandise planning, assortment planning, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work with large data sets and identify trends and insights.
- Proven communication skills and the ability to collaborate optimally with cross-functional partners.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with evolving priorities.
- Proficiency in Excel and planning/reporting tools; experience with enterprise planning systems a plus.
- Curiosity and a desire to learn how global strategy translates into commercial and fiscal outcomes.

Title: Planner, Global DTC
Salary or Pay Range: $87,000 - $97,000
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
