Overview

The Merchandise Planner, Personalization is responsible for driving strategic demand planning that supports profitable growth across DTC channels. This role is pivotal in improving sales, maintaining healthy in-stock levels, improving speed to market, and optimizing the product assortment through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate blends analytical expertise with strong cross-functional partnership, enabling efficient buying execution, accurate OTB management, and timely inventory decisions that align with market trends and consumer demand.

What You'll Do

  • Data & Insights duties such as analyzing weekly sales, inventory, and SKU productivity across DTC channels.
  • Supervise market trends and sell-through data to identify demand opportunities.
  • Produce clear reporting highlighting risks, opportunities, and assortment/inventory recommendations.
  • Own the Demand Plan for Personalization, ensuring alignment with commercial and seasonal needs.
  • Lead and maintain accuracy of the OTB tool.
  • Present data-driven scenarios incorporating forecasts, inventory turn, and promotional impacts.
  • Recommend seasonal and in-season stocking strategies for core, carryover, and new product launches.
  • Partner with Regional Merchants to align assortment, buy quantities, and inventory strategy.
  • Drive monthly planning results, including buy recommendations and speed.
  • Participate in key business reviews, offering insights to guide strategic decisions.
  • Identify workflow or system inefficiencies and propose improvements.
  • Support planning tool evolutions, system transitions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, mathematics or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and long-term planning, preferably in retail.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).
  • Experience with inventory management systems and forecasting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex data clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Salary or Pay Range: $87,000 - $97,000 

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
