Overview

The Crocs, Inc. team is currently hiring a Merchandise Planner, DTC, to support our growing eCommerce Planning efforts for the Americas market. This role will be responsible for developing and executing demand plans for both core and new products, ensuring optimal inventory levels and profitable business growth. The Merchandise Planner, DTC, will drive cross-functional collaboration with commercial partners to align on demand review, consolidation, and seasonal handoffs. Various categories to cover include Clogs, Lifestyle, or Sandals. They will also coordinate the Open to Buy process, maintain product-driven inventory policies, and provide insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. By focusing on data-driven approaches and market trends, this position will help improve sales, improve stock movement rates, and strengthen Crocs’ eCommerce presence across the Americas.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct in-depth weekly and monthly analyses to assess sales performance across DTC and Wholesale channels, inventory turnover, and assortment effectiveness.
  • Develop comprehensive reports that highlight key trends, sales opportunities, and recommendations for assortment optimization to improve speed.
  • Manage Product Life Cycle Inventory actions and SKU productivity analysis.
  • Analyze sales data to uncover insights that drive revenue growth, drive faster decision-making and improve inventory turnover rates.
  • Monitor market trends across channels, analyze sell-in/sell-out data to advise demand opportunities and support buying decision-making.
  • Partner with Channel Planning leads to astrategies to ensure alignment with market demands and optimize inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with Global Merchandising GMM to recommend changes to product assortment to improve sales and meet consumer demand.
  • Make actionable recommendations on buying strategies and inventory allocation across channels.
  • Make speed buy recommendations to channel leads as part of the monthly planning cycle.

  • Identify inefficiencies in current processes and suggest improvements to improve speed and responsiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry guidelines in inventory management and demand forecasting.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and developing plans for growth, preferably in retail or accessories.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with inventory management systems and forecasting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex data clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with market research and consumer behavior analysis.

Title: Merchandise Planner, DTC 

Salary or Pay Range: $87,000 - $97,000 

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.
