Overview

The Manager, Global Merchandising - Retail at Crocs Inc. is responsible for driving strategies and results in a high growth business for the Crocs Global Retail team. This individual is responsible for merchandising assortments that support key items, strategies, and current trends that will enable financial goals of retail channel. The position will report to the Director of Global Retail Merchandising and will influence and drive strategies and financial targets. The Merchandising Manager will engage with several cross-functional teams including Category Management, Design, Planning, Allocation, Demand and Supply Planning, Visual Merchandising, GTM, Retail Field/Operations, and Marketing.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with leadership to gain alignment with Category Management and Planning teams on long range planning and implement strategies to support. Align product briefs to range plans and MFP plans.
  • Support achievement of financial plans by driving profitable assortment strategies, margin targets, and lifecycle management.
  • Develop global retail footwear assortments that align with brand strategy, consumer insights, and financial objectives.
  • Build seasonal line architecture that balances innovation, key franchises, and commercial needs across store formats.
  • Partner with regional merchandising teams to adapt global assortments for market relevance and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze sales, sell through, and consumer trends to optimize assortments, drive in season performance, influence future line planning and seasonal creation.
  • Lead seasonal go to market readiness, including assortment tools, storytelling, and global retail presentations.
  • Collaborate with retail operations and visual merchandising to ensure consistent, compelling in store execution.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in merchandising, ideally within footwear, sporting goods, or retail specialty.
  • Strong understanding of global retail dynamics and consumer behaviors.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with advanced skills in Microsoft suite and merchandising systems required.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global matrixed environment and manage multiple deadlines.

Title: Manager, Global Merchandising - Retail 

Salary or Pay Range: $115,000 - $125,000 

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.
