Overview

We are looking for a Manager, Category Management-Lifestyle who can use analytics and turn them in to significant insights; someone who can connect the dots, champion a consumer-first approach and drive a brand vision. Reporting into the Senior Director, Category Management you will be responsible for the team to deliver an outstanding line as a result of deep product, consumer and competitor analysis passionate about our lifestyle categories. You will develop initiatives and line plans crafted to reach both seasonal and long-term strategic goals and revenue / margin plans. You will drive clear processes to enable operational efficiency within the product creation process and will demonstrate cross-functional collaboration to get key partners aligned.  Above all, you’re passionate about team and want to support and develop those around you.
 

What You'll Do

  • Build a balanced growth plan for lifestyle categories utilizing a consumer-first approach that incorporates operational and financial realities and drives end to end quality.
  • Expand the existing lifestyle business with clear penetration targets, excellent assortments, and compelling ready-made go-to-market sales pitches.
  • Use consumer, competitor, and data insights and drive the vision for the future. 
  • Co-create the product strategy with the Sr. Director of Category Management cascade down through your team.
  • Analyze the business and drive actions to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate weaknesses. Seek after success and pivot on failures, prioritizing speed to match the pace of the consumer.
  • Ensure comp products and volume are protected, but also build space for newness to drive incremental growth and whitespace opportunities for the brand.
  • Oversee triad collaboration with design, development/innovation, and merchandising.
  • Lead through empowerment, focusing on people development, encouraging a culture of curiosity, consumer centricity and analysis.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years applicable category management experience, preferably with a background in casual / sport lifestyle
  • 2+ years of team management experience
  • Possesses an expert-level understanding and passion for product line management and the product creation calendar and lifecycle
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
  • Consistent record of success at other global brands, preferably apparel or footwear
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional partners and executive leaders
  • Ability to lead with empowerment agility and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel domestically/globally

Salary or Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000  

Workplace Persona: Collaborator  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

 

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
