Overview

Crocs' Global Planning team is hiring a Key Account Planner to lead planning and forecasting for one of our most strategic and dynamic partnerships, Amazon.

 

In this highly visible role, you will sit at the center of one of Crocs' largest and fastest-evolving businesses, partnering closely with Amazon, Sales, Merchandising, Finance, Demand Planning, and Supply Planning teams to drive growth, maximize inventory productivity, and deliver an exceptional consumer experience.

 

As the Key Account Planner for Amazon, you will own the forecast and translate complex business trends into actionable strategies that support revenue, profitability, and long-term growth. You'll influence key decisions across seasonal planning, inventory investments, replenishment strategies, and marketplace initiatives while serving as a trusted business partner to both internal stakeholders and external account teams.

What You'll Do

  • Be responsible for the demand forecast, account plan, and inventory strategy for Amazon, one of Crocs' most strategic growth partners
  • Serve as the primary planning partner to Amazon, converting customer demand and marketplace trends into practical business plans
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, Demand Planning, and Supply Planning to drive revenue growth and improve inventory efficiency
  • Influence key business decisions through data-driven insights, identifying risks, opportunities, and growth drivers
  • Present business performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to leadership and key partners
  • Compose, maintain, and communicate product and account forecasts
  • Generate detailed sales and demand plans by product and material
  • Support the collaborative account planning process with Sales and key customers
  • Align forecasts and inventory plans to account strategies and financial targets
  • Develop and maintain seasonal and monthly financial account plans
  • Manage reconciliation between bottom-up forecasts and top-down targets
  • Monitor account performance and recommend actions to improve results
  • Analyze POS, inventory, and sell-through trends to find opportunities and risks
  • Conduct monthly, seasonal, and post-season business performance analyses
  • Apply forecast accuracy metrics and customer scorecards to drive continuous improvement
  • Incorporate category, consumer, marketing, and customer insights into planning decisions
  • Monitor demand trends, replenishment needs, and key item inventory positions
  • Partner with Demand and Supply Planning teams to manage inventory challenges, possibilities, and constraints
  • Support annual and seasonal financial planning processes with forecast and demand insights
  • Prepare routine reporting including ATP, bookings, shipments, open orders, and inventory performance
  • Build planning tools, forecast templates, and sales meeting materials
  • Develop account profiles, planning assumptions, and long-range business plans
  • Compile hindsight reporting to advise future assortment and forecasting strategies
  • Identify process improvements that improve forecast accuracy, efficiency, and business performance

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or supply chain related field
  • At least 2+ years of experience as a buyer, planner, analyst, account manager in consumer goods industry (retail and/or wholesale)
  • Understanding of inventory management, S&OP, and integrated business planning process
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority, gain agreement and drive consensus
  • Strong organizational skills and proven experience in developing / managing processes in a fast-growing business
  • Proven track record to articulate business requirements and formulate concise solutions to complex problems
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, Access a plus
  • 10% travel may be required

Title: Key Account Planner 

Salary or Pay Range: $80,000 - $95,000 

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
