Overview

The Director, Global DTC Retail is a critical teammate that will be responsible for building the Global DTC Retail strategy for Crocs in support of revenue and brand goals. This role works cross-functionally to build the global range plan and bring it to life through segmentation, investment and go to market guidance. This person is a team leader and supports the regional merchandising teams across the globe. In charge of analyzing and understanding the Global business and using those insights to drive long range merchandising strategies. They are students of the past, authorities in the now, and can divine future vision and set direction with ease in ambiguity. They think big picture, connect dots easily, and can translate strategy into action. They stay ahead of the competition and serve at the pace of their consumer.

What You'll Do

  • Create and drive productive seasonal assortments that enable regions to deliver their financial KPIs while reflecting the global brand priorities and regional nuances.
  • Build and drive thoughtful retail assortment strategies that can improve key ideas in our global assortment regardless of store size.
  • Provide Go to Market tools with recommendations on Sku targets, product flow, franchise and product life cycle management, investment strategies, allocations, etc.
  • Influence the global financial plans, in alignment with current performance and brand direction
  • Drive and present the Global DTC Retail merchandising POV at all global and regional milestones.
  • Partner with Global Category and Global Marketing teams to build out the seasonal marketing calendar.
  • Partner with regional teams to consolidate regional insights and key findings. Be the global Retail authority; provide the consolidated global voice of the consumer with one voice on product performance
  • Along with Global planning, review and influence seasonal investments to ensure brand and commercial needs are addressed via RAF
  • Drive pre-line meetings with key accounts
  • Own DTC exclusives process
  • Develop and coach team

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, merchandising, or related field.
  • 10+ years of Product, Channel or Category Merchandising
  • 3+ years of leading others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and Google docs.
  • Self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, and high-performance environment.
  • Excellent time management, communication (written & verbal) and organization skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, globally, and influence key collaborators.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change.
  • Strong initiative and capacity to work independently.
  • Positive demeanor and capable of working in a team environment.
  • Approximately 25% travel

Title: Director Global DTC - Retail 

Salary or Pay Range: $165,000 - $175,000 

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.
