This role will contribute to footwear, premium Jibbitz™, bag charms, and other collectible product expressions by translating brand IP, graphics, and cultural inspiration into highly desirable 3D collectible objects and accessories.

The ideal candidate brings experience in collectible product design, character-based design, or licensed merchandise, and has strong capabilities across industrial design, surface design, and technical product development. This designer should be deeply tapped into popular culture, collectibles culture, and emerging consumer trends, with the ability to translate those cultural signals into compelling Crocs product concepts.

This role thrives in a fast-paced, collaboration-driven environment and partners seamlessly with internal teams and external collaborators to bring innovative collectible products to life.

What You'll Do

• Support the Brand Partnerships design team by developing brand-right collectible product concepts for footwear, premium Jibbitz™, bag charms, and related accessory expressions.

• Translate insights on forward-thinking consumers, pop culture, tastemakers, entertainment, and global brands into compelling Crocs collectible product stories.

• Design highly desirable collectible products that connect with fans and collectors, leveraging an understanding of drop culture, pop culture relevance, and collectible product psychology.

• Translate 2D graphics, brand assets, and licensed IP into 3D product concepts through digital modeling, CAD, and concept visualization.

• Create inspiring concept visuals, 3D renderings, illustrations, and mood boards to communicate ideas internally and to external partners.

• Design Jibbitz™ concepts, collectible accessories, graphic placements, surface treatments, and packaging assets that elevate product desirability.

• Apply industrial design thinking to small-scale collectible objects, ensuring form, durability, manufacturability, and strong product storytelling.

• Develop surface design solutions, including textures, finishes, paint applications, graphic detailing, and material exploration.

• Collaborate with Product, Development, Marketing, and Licensing partners to ensure concepts are feasible, on-brand, and production-ready.

• Present design concepts clearly to internal stakeholders and external collaborators.

• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, time-sensitive contract environment.

• Support design development across concept, color, form, materials, surface detailing, and technical design execution.

• Stay current on design tools, 3D workflows, emerging technologies, and cultural trends influencing collectible products and accessories.

• Bring fresh, disruptive thinking while remaining adaptable and solutions-oriented.

What You'll Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Apparel Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally including collectible products, licensed merchandise, toys, accessories, or novelty product design.

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).

• Strong capability in 3D modeling or CAD tools such as Blender, ZBrush, Rhino, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.

• Demonstrated experience translating graphic concepts or brand IP into physical 3D product designs.

• Solid understanding of materials, construction, and manufacturing considerations, particularly for small collectible objects.

• Experience working with materials such as PVC, ABS, resin, metal, enamel, silicone, plush, or mixed materials is a plus.

• Strong understanding of industrial design principles, surface design, and technical product development.

• Deep interest in popular culture, collectibles, streetwear, entertainment, gaming, and brand collaborations.

• Graphic design experience and strong visual storytelling skills are a plus.

• Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.

• Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ideal candidates may come from backgrounds in collectible toys, designer toys, licensed merchandise, novelty accessories, or character product design.
