The Executive & Broad-Based Compensation Manager will play a critical role in the implementation and administration of our executive and broad-based compensation programs. This position will be responsible for ensuring our compensation strategies align with strategic objectives, market competitiveness, and follow all applicable regulations. Understanding executive compensation principles, equity-based compensation, interacting professionally, and running compensation programs are key.


We are seeking a dedicated professional to create and maintain compensation policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will prepare and present compensation-related reports and analyses, participate in various compensation-related projects and initiatives, and partner with finance, legal, and other departments to ensure alignment on compensation matters. Additionally, this role involves leading and mentoring junior compensation staff as needed, and supporting ad-hoc analyses and special projects to address emerging business needs and compensation challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with the development and implementation of executive compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentives, and long-term equity awards.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure executive compensation is competitive and aligned with company performance.
  • Prepare materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Draft sections of the annual proxy, including the CD&A tables, SEC filings (Form 3s and Form 4s).
  • Maintain the designated insider list and send communications as needed.
  • Provide assistance in the administration of equity-based plans, including restricted stock units and performance stock units.
  • Maintain relationships with external consultants and vendors, as well as internal collaborators (finance, tax, legal, etc.).
  • Lead the design, implementation, and administration of broad-based compensation programs, including salary structures, merit increases, and incentive plans, along with vendor management and system administration.
  • Conduct salary surveys and market analysis to ensure competitive pay levels across all employee groups (corporate, retail, and distribution centers).
  • Assist with the annual compensation cycle (salary planning, merit increases, annual bonus, equity grants).
  • Provide guidance and support to HR business partners and managers on compensation-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an applicable specialty
  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) in compensation with an emphasis on executive and broad-based compensation.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, market trends, and benchmarking.
  • Solid understanding of executive compensation principles, including equity-based compensation.
  • Demonstrated experience in running and improving compensation processes.
  • Experience handling global programs with external vendors and consultants.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with the capability to shift priorities.
  • Advanced Microsoft application skills (Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, etc.), HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors).

Title: Compensation Manager 

Salary or Pay Range: $110,000 - $125,000  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
