Overview

The Associate Merchandiser supports the Wholesale Merchandising team to execute the Global and Regional merchandising vision for Crocs. The role plays an important role in organizing, maintaining and leading the processes and information required to bring the seasonal line to life in the Americas region. This role is a critical central stakeholder who leads cross-functional communication and critical business initiatives to drive the day to day duties of the Region’s Merchandising needs.

What You'll Do

MERCHANDISING ANALYSIS  

•Track and review performance of assortments and products for both sell-in and sell-out, identifying growth opportunities and areas to divest or course correct. 

•Prepare Global/Regional presentations analyzing the product line and Americas merchandising strategies.


CATALOG CREATION  

 •Lead and manage the catalog creation process and finalization, ensuring accurate imagery, pricing, article detail, etc. is completed OTIF seasonally, 


PRICING   

 •Lead the Regional pricing process and coordinate across Global Product, Sales, Retail, Digital, Finance and IT to complete pricing OTIF and within margin requirements. 
•Build a strong knowledge of pricing architecture across the Americas regions.


LINE LIST MANAGEMENT  

 •Lead weekly maintenance of the Americas line list.
•Develop a strong understanding of the total line alongside all channel merchandisers for consistency and accuracy of data.
•Lead the process of regional line addition requests with Global merchandising teams and ensure new products are order-ready. 


COMPETITOR / TREND RESEARCH  

 •Build seasonal competitor reviews across the Americas footwear market. 
• Assist merchandisers on trend analysis for seasonal reviews.


SAMPLE MANAGEMENT    

•Manage the seasonal ordering process for showroom and salesman samples.
•Ensure sample budgets are met.
•Coordinate sample logistics and tracking, including receiving and shipping to key stakeholders.
 

What You'll Bring to the Table

•Bachelor’s Degree 
•At least 2 years work experience in a related function.
•Very strong communication skills
•Clear and organized communicator who can provide timely and constructive information in a variety of methods (in person, email, phone)
Solutions-focused team player
•Can come with ideas and proposals on how to improve processes where they see opportunity.
•Provides support even before the need is asked or identified by others in the team.
•Positive attitude and a strong desire to deliver great outcomes for internal and external partners.
High level proficiency on Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

•Good understanding of Excel and Powerpoint, capable of managing large files of critical data and developing clear and compelling presentations.
Good understanding of the Americas footwear landscape
•Consumer focused
•Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of internal sales teams and retail partners. 
•Passion for the footwear industry and the ability for brands to connect with consumers.

Salary or Pay Range: $55,000 - $70,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
