Overview

Crocs is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the primary strategist behind our brand partnerships, collaborations, Energy and licensed products. You are passionate about leading this team to help build more Crocs Fans worldwide, growing our brand relevance and buzz by employing merchandising strategies. This person will develop a team of merchants dedicated to these exciting areas of our business. This role will serve as a substantial part of our Global Product & Merchandising team, but also as a highly visible cross-functional leader. 

What You'll Do

  • Lead collaboration and partnerships projects holistically by effectively running cross-functional interdependencies and relationships, including in Marketing  
  • Lead all aspects of relationship management with co-creators. 
  • Develop a collaboration strategy that reflects Crocs’ brand and macro  
  • Ensure that collaboration products meet merchandising and brand objectives, revenue targets, and project goals 
  • Represent the brand in business development initiatives with potential partners.  
  • Own commercial and strategic relationships with key brand partners, facilitating long-term partnerships which drive toward our brand and revenue goals 
  • Partner with merchandising team on product development, projections, and pricing strategies 
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of cultural trends, industry trends, and what drives brand hype 
  • Lead contract negotiations in partnership with Legal team. 
  • Maintain existing in/out licensing relationships across all categories and optimize terms and potential of these partnership. 
  • Improve revenue through innovative and effective merchandising strategies across relevant categories and channels 
  • Develop and manage globally scalable products outside of footwear via Out-licensing.  
  • Evaluate possible territories and categories where the brand has permission to play, and its relevant from a business perspective. 
  • Manage all out-license partners, making sure process, timelines, and royalty payments are aligned to current Crocs standards. 
  • Lead the creation of Crocs Energy Product Line, driving heat through the creation of product for the elevated consumer. 
  • Align with wholesale channel team and regions on go-to-market process and accounts, while managing DTC channels to ensure best consumer experience.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, related field or equivalent years of experience 
  • 15 years of dynamic merchandising experience with shown expertise in brand partnerships, collaborations, and/or licensing 
  • 5 years leading a team, preferably in a global, Omni-channel organization 
  • Experience in the apparel or footwear industry is preferred  
  • Experience as a leader in a highly cross-functional role 
  • Experience influencing and driving results in a highly matrixed environment 
  • Ability to interpret data, market insights, and post-mortems to incorporate into strategies  
  • Proven understanding of standard methodologies and trends in merchandising, licensing, etc  
  • Strong financial foresight, and the ability to translate a strategy into a financial plan 
  • Strong intuition for business with an ability to anticipate risks and identify contingency plans to minimize business disruption 
  • Shown ability to synthesize information and clearly articulate an informed path forward

Salary or Pay Range: $240,000 - $250,000  

Workplace Persona: Collaborator  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

 

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
